It is TIME for preparation of the End Days to begin. Though NO one can predict the day of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the completion of God’s plans with prophesied events, the signs are in place. The Lord has moved me, and my congregation to know that the next stage of preparation should begin. So we prepare, and I will be writing many articles to help the congregation led by Senior Pastor Jimmy Chirambo to consider. Although our cultures are different, the danger for followers of Jesus Christ will be the same as events unfold.
Some of our community of Believers are rich. Most are very poor. In a perfect world, each of us would have the ability to purchase that beautiful GOBAG that is filled to the brim with survival options! However, just because we are mostly poor, God wants us to survive if that is His Will, and He wants us to prepare, so His focus can be on the more demanding events as they unfold.
We must be prepared to shelter-in-place, inside our homes. But we also must be prepared to go quickly away from our homes and communities if they are targeted by wicked doers who have evil intent against us. The more movement we have to separate ourselves from the danger, the safer we and our families will be.
Our prepared GOBAGS are a lifesaving method to prepare to leave our homes and towns quickly with the necessary tools to survive. We prepare one bag for each person in our home, and we keep it in a safe place that can be easily found in an emergency evacuation. Older people and children will not be able to carry heavy bags, so consideration must be given to their individuals strengths. All bags will have some things the same, and some things that are different depending upon if they are a woman, man, child, and their individual disabilities taken into account.
NOW IS THE TIME TO PREPARE YOUR GOBAGS! Every post I make in the next month will talk about what to put into those bags. If you are too poor to even put the basic necessities, then together we must figure out a plan so your whole community of Altar of Fire Global Church – Malawi members can look after each other in the time of great distress.
ONE VERY IMPORTANT RULE: There will be no weapons packed in our GOBAGS for the purpose of defending ourselves against other human beings. We will rely upon the advance notice that God sends us, and our ability to prepare in advance, and our courage to escape tribulation and persecution if possible.
SECOND IMPORTANT RULE: If we are trapped and facing our deaths, our witness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ must be on our lips, our faith in our assumption to our Lord in resurrection assured, and our hands raised in praise to Him as the world tries to destroy the testimony of Jesus Christ.
THIRD IMPORTANT RULE: Be assured with confident faith that our destinies are sealed by God, and His Will be done always!
