Today is Yom Kippur, the day of Holiness for the Jews. In Jewish tradition, The Days of Awe are ten days from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur and are a time for reflection, fasting, and repentance. During this time Jews ask forgiveness from those they have wronged and forgive those who have wronged them. On Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement), Jews believe that the fate of the Jewish people will be sealed by God’s judgment over them on this day for the rest of the year to come.
The Lord has used this calendar for over thirty years to restore my personal spiritual growth and lead me to the next years projects. Every year at this time, I take a break from the normal day-to-day activities, and try to focus on my communication with the Lord. It is the time when He tells me of my next works, and how He wants them accomplished, through His Holy Spirit.
This year was a very eventful ten days, with much more information than normally I receive. Expect many new teachings as the revelations of the Lord are revealed. Also expect difficult times, as His Season unfolds, and special instruction of how to survive these times with your spiritual growth intact.
This coming year promises to be difficult for all Christians. Together, with the LORD GOD, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, we will survive if it is God’s Will. But, we must focus on preparing our lives according to His Word. We also must focus on getting the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the places and people that God has moved us to deliver His Word.
The Altar of Fire Global Ministry in Malawi has been tasked with spreading His Gospel throughout the land of Malawi. The ministry is in good hands with the dedicated Senior Pastor Jimmy Chirambo and the Harvesters trying to achieve these works with only their dedicated faith, and sacrifices, as they go throughout their lands without financial support. They truly are God’s workers, with no gain to them, but great gain for the Kingdom of God as salvation comes to many lost people as a result of their efforts to show them Christ.
